How weighed items work

Fresh meat, fish, fruit and vegetables are often sold by weight. Here is how the price works.

Choosing an amount

On the product page choose the weight you want (or the number of pieces for items sold in approximate pieces). The cart shows an estimated price for that amount.

Weighing at packing

We weigh fresh items when we pack your order and charge for the real weight. We stay close to the amount you asked for and never pack more than 10% over it.

Your final price

• Your final price is the real weight times the price per unit shown on the product.
• Paid online by card: if the item weighs less, we refund the difference; if it weighs a little more, you are not charged extra.
• Paying on delivery or at pickup: you pay for the real weight, shown on your order before you pay.
